Kitchen deep cleaning · Dubai

Kitchen deep cleaning in Dubai, from the hood filter to the back of the cupboards.

A kitchen looks clean long after it stops being clean. The grease sits in the hood filter, on top of the wall cupboards, in the oven door and in the grout behind the hob, where it binds the fine Dubai dust into a grey film. We take the kitchen apart as far as it is designed to come apart and clean it surface by surface, with one fixed price agreed on WhatsApp before we start.

Free and without obligation. No extra charges on the day.

Kitchen deep cleaning in Dubai is a full reset of the kitchen: extractor hood and grease filters, oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, cupboards inside, tiles, grout, sink and taps, plus the floor behind appliances that can be moved safely. In most apartment kitchens, the hood, the oven and the grout make most of the difference.

What a kitchen deep clean in Dubai includes

  • Extractor hood inside and out, grease filters degreased
  • Oven, racks, trays, door glass and seals
  • Hob, burners and the splashback with its grout
  • Fridge, freezer and dishwasher, inside and seals
  • Cupboards and drawers inside, tops of wall units
  • Sink and taps descaled, behind appliances where they can be moved safely

What does a kitchen deep clean in Dubai include?

Every surface grease and dust can reach, including the ones behind doors and filters. A normal clean wipes the fronts. A kitchen deep clean opens everything that is designed to open and cleans the inside as well.

The table shows what we clean, how, and where the line is. The limits matter as much as the list, because most arguments on the day start with an appliance that was assumed to come out of its niche.

How does a kitchen deep clean work, step by step?

Top down, and inside out. Grease from the hood and the cupboard tops runs downwards when it is loosened, so the worktops, the hob and the floor come last.

Our order of work in a kitchen

  • Walk through with you, note damage and check which appliances can be moved safely.
  • Grease filters, oven racks, trays and burner caps go into a degreasing soak first, so they work while we do the rest.
  • Tops of wall cupboards, the hood outside and inside, light covers.
  • Cupboards and drawers inside, shelves, hinges and handles.
  • Oven inside, door glass and seals, then the hob.
  • Fridge, freezer and dishwasher, inside and seals.
  • Splashback, tiles and grout with steam, sink and taps descaled.
  • Behind and beside freestanding appliances, then the floor and skirting, then a final walk through.

How is a kitchen extractor hood cleaned properly?

By taking out the filters and cleaning the hood around them, not by wiping the outside. In most apartment hoods the metal grease filters clip out by hand. They go into a hot degreasing soak, are brushed through and rinsed, and only go back in when they are dry. Steam helps on the frame, the edges and the light covers, where grease sits in corners.

Recirculating hoods have a second, charcoal filter behind the metal one. That filter cannot be washed, it has to be replaced, so if your kitchen smells of cooking although the hood runs, check whether it is a recirculating model.

The duct behind the hood is a different question. In many apartment buildings it leads into a shared exhaust that belongs to the building, not to your flat, and we do not open it. In villas with their own duct to the outside, and in restaurants, extract ducts are part of what we clean.

Why does kitchen grease in Dubai turn into a grey crust?

Because the dust it catches is mineral. Grease on its own stays sticky and yellowish. In Dubai it collects fine dust, and a large part of that dust is ground rock, so the film on top of the wall cupboards, the hood and the extractor fan turns grey and hard over time.

A 2023 study of indoor dust from twenty Dubai homes found calcium as the largest element, which the authors attribute to the geology of the region and to transported desert dust. That mix of grease and mineral dust does not wipe off with a damp cloth. It needs a degreaser and time to work, then a pad, and it is why the tops of the cupboards are often the dirtiest surface in a kitchen that looks clean.

How often should a kitchen be deep cleaned?

No rule sets a frequency for home kitchens, so this is our recommendation, not a requirement. In a kitchen used for daily cooking with oil and spices, once or twice a year is a sensible rhythm for the full job, with the hood filters cleaned more often in between. A kitchen that is used lightly can go longer.

The better trigger is condition. When the hood filter feels sticky, when the oven smokes as it heats up, or when the tops of the wall cupboards are grey, it is time. Moving in or out, the weeks after a festive season with a lot of cooking, and the return from a long summer away are the other natural moments.

Do you deep clean restaurant kitchens, extract hoods and grease ducts?

Yes. For restaurants, cafés and other commercial kitchens we clean extract hoods and their filters, the extract and grease ducts, the cooking line, fryers, ovens and grills, the walls and floors behind the equipment, cold rooms and storage. We work outside opening hours, early in the morning or at night.

Operators often ask how often the law requires a hood to be cleaned. The Dubai Food Code does not set a number. It asks for filters that can be removed for cleaning, it names grease build up in hoods as a fire hazard, and it leaves the frequency to the competent department. If your landlord, mall or insurer asks for a particular report after the clean, tell us beforehand so we can agree what we document.

What we do not promise in a commercial kitchen is an inspection result. We clean to the scope agreed with you and document it with photos. How the kitchen is run every day in between decides the rest.

What is not included in a kitchen deep clean?

A kitchen is full of appliances and connections, so the line between cleaning and repair needs to be clear before we start.

  • Moving built in appliances, or freestanding ones that are fixed, connected in a way that cannot be moved safely, or too heavy for the floor. We clean where they can be moved safely.
  • Gas connections, electrical work and appliance repairs. If we notice a fault, we tell you.
  • The building's shared exhaust duct behind an apartment hood.
  • Permanent damage: burnt enamel, scratched glass hobs, etched stone worktops, stained grout and swollen cupboard bases.
  • Pest control. If you see signs of pests, a licensed pest control company comes first, and we clean afterwards.
  • Promises about hygiene or inspection results. We describe what we clean, not what it does beyond that.

How do you recognise a good kitchen cleaning company?

Look at what they ask before they quote. A good company asks about the hood type, whether the oven has been cleaned recently, whether the fridge and dishwasher are included inside, and whether appliances can be pulled out. A company that quotes a kitchen from the number of bedrooms has not thought about your kitchen yet.

On the day, the filters and racks should go into a soak early, not at the end. And a good team tells you what will not come off, such as burnt enamel or etched steel, before it starts rather than after. With us, if something on the agreed list was missed, send a photo on WhatsApp and the same team comes back.

What should you prepare, and what decides the fixed price?

Empty the fridge and freezer and switch them off the day before, or tell us if that is not possible. Empty the cupboards you want cleaned inside, clear the worktops and run the dishwasher empty. Water and electricity must be on, and if the building needs a service lift booking, arrange it before the day.

We send one fixed price on WhatsApp before we start, and it does not change on the day. Five things move it: the size of the kitchen and the number of cupboards; the condition of the oven, hood and grout; which appliances are cleaned inside; whether freestanding appliances are pulled out; and for commercial kitchens, the length of the extract ducts and the working hours. Photos of the oven, the hood filter, the cupboard tops and the grout tell us most of what we need.

Add the rest of the home on the same day

The kitchen is usually the hardest room in a home deep clean, and the one people book on its own first. If the bathrooms, the floors or the AC are due as well, the same team can do the whole home in one appointment.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

You get one fixed price before we start, sent to you on WhatsApp. Every home is different, so a list price would either be wrong or too high. Whatever we find on the day, the price stays what we agreed.

We are a restaurant. Can you come outside opening hours?

Yes. Early mornings, nights and weekends are normal for us. Grease traps and extract ducts are part of the work, not an extra we send someone else for.

Do you clean kitchen extractor hoods in Dubai apartments?

Yes. We clean the hood inside and out, take out the metal grease filters and degrease them, and clean the fan area as far as it can be reached without tools. Charcoal filters in recirculating hoods cannot be washed, they have to be replaced, and we tell you if yours are due.

Can you deep clean only the kitchen?

Yes. A kitchen deep clean can be booked on its own, with or without the fridge, oven and dishwasher inside. Send us photos of the oven, the hood and the cupboards on WhatsApp and we quote a fixed price for exactly that.

How much does kitchen deep cleaning cost in Dubai?

It depends on the size of the kitchen, the condition of the oven, hood and grout, which appliances are cleaned inside and whether appliances are pulled out. We send one fixed price on WhatsApp before we start, based on a few photos, and it does not change on the day.

How do you clean a greasy kitchen hood filter?

Take the metal filter out, soak it in hot water with a degreaser, brush it through along the mesh, rinse it and let it dry fully before putting it back. If the filter is a charcoal one from a recirculating hood, it cannot be washed and has to be replaced.

Do you clean inside the oven and the fridge?

Yes, both are part of a full kitchen deep clean. Racks and trays are soaked, the oven inside, door glass and seals are degreased. The fridge needs to be emptied and switched off beforehand so the shelves can come out and the inside and seals can be cleaned.

Do you clean kitchen exhaust ducts for restaurants in Dubai?

Yes. For restaurants and other commercial kitchens we clean extract hoods, filters and the extract and grease ducts, outside opening hours. The Dubai Food Code names grease in hoods as a fire hazard but sets no fixed cleaning interval, so the frequency depends on how much you cook and what your landlord or insurer asks for.

Can you clean behind the fridge and the cooker?

Yes, where the appliances can be moved safely. Freestanding fridges and cookers on a flat floor usually can. Built in units, appliances fixed to the wall or the gas line, and very heavy ones stay where they are, and we clean as far as we can reach around them.
